IACA • International Association of Commercial Administrators • Incorporated as a non-stock, non-profit corporation under the Nonprofit Corporation Law of the State of Louisiana in 1978
IACA (cont.) • Purpose: • to improve the operation of business and commercial departments of governmental agencies through • mutual cooperation • exchange of ideas • education • promotion of legislation for the improvement of business and commercial laws and their administration
IACA • Membership • employees of government agencies with administrative and policy authority for, or providing supporting information/technology services to, business entities divisions or departments and Uniform Commercial Code (US) divisions or departments (otherwise known as personal property or security interest registers) • General members and international members
