Preliminary Outline • Select two of these three aspects of your poet to analyze: • one aspect of his life, • his poetry's content (choose 1-3 poems), • or his poetic style (choose 1-3 poems).

Your Voice • If possible, include your attitude toward your poet’s life, content, or style. • In these examples the attitude words are “troubling”, “tormented” and “eloquent”. • These words emphasize your opinion about your poet.
