CONTENTdm. Acquisition Station. Open the Acquisition Station. Select Open from the menu. Choose the appropriate project. Click OK. Select the icon to Import Single File. Browse and find the file you wish to import. Select Yes. Select Generate a display image. Click Advanced.

  1. CONTENTdm Acquisition Station

  2. Open the Acquisition Station Select Open from the menu

  3. Choose the appropriate project Click OK

  4. Select the icon to Import Single File

  5. Browse and find the file you wish to import Select Yes Select Generate a display image Click Advanced

  6. Select Options

  7. Choose the File Format tab Select JPEG2000 from the drop down menu Click OK

  8. Click Save

  9. Click OK

  10. Fill in all available metadata (use previous records as guides)

  11. When a field has a controlled vocabulary, double click the term(s), and they will automatically be inserted into the field.

  12. Delete the semicolon that is automatically generated after the term(s)

  13. When filling in Geographic Area use the Getty Thesaurus of Geographic Place Names (TGN) List largest unit first and separate each by a semicolon (continent; nation; state)

  14. When filling in Technique use the Getty Art & Architecture Thesaurus (AAT) When you are done adding metadata, click Save

  15. When you are finished with the item(s) you have saved, click Upload

  16. Close out of the Acquisition Station You will see the following message when upload is complete. Click OK
