Acquisition Station Image Library Upgrade • Provides improved performance and reliability on imaging operations • Supports import of additional TIFF formats • JPEG • 4-bit • 16-bit
Acquisition Station Replace OperationsEnhancements • Apply Template Creator settings during single or multiple replace operations • Technical metadata automatically extracted from new files • Will replace existing metadata • Choose whether or not to apply

Server IP Range Support • Specify IP ranges when restricting access to collections or items • Use a hyphen to specify ranges • Starting and ending numbers are included in the range • Use in any of the four positions of the IP address • May be used in multiple positions in the same range specification • May be used in conjunction with the wild card (*)

Server User Interface – User Rights • Improved interface makes administering user rights easier and less confusing • Collection rights are displayed during editing process • Removing user rights from collections is straightforward

Server Redirects for Obsolete URLs • Automatically redirect users or systems that access old collection pages to the equivalent pages in the Version 4 interface • Redirects predefined queries created using Query Builder Tool or Custom Queries and Results Version 3 • Redirects work for URLs containing the following executables • pview.exe, pquery.exe, pbrowse.exe, htmldoc.exe, queryresults.exe, browserresults.exe, viewer.exe, and docviewer.exe • Implement as needed
Server PHP 5 • PHP 5.0 is supported • Choose which version of PHP to run (4.3 or 5.0) • Upgrade to PHP 5.0 is NOT required with upgrade to Version 4.1
