Brainstorm • Goal: To make a profit from your mine. • You must do the following • Name your mine • Determine which type of cookie to buy • Determine which equipment to buy • Determine the amount of time to mine • Purchase your time
Procedures • Purchase cookie • Purchase supplies • Place your cookie on the graph and trace the outline • Count the number of squares and complete your worksheet • When instructed start mining. • Stop when your time is announced. • Count the number of chips removed and complete the worksheet. • Reclaim your cookie. ($1 per square)
Rules! • All prospectors start with $19.00 • You cannot touch the cookie! • Any contact with the cookie must involve your tools. • If a tool breaks, you must purchase another. However, your time to mine will continue. • When reclaiming your mine, try to get all of the pieces to cover the area.
