Destruction During The Eruption • During the eruption the volcano spits out boiling hot lava. • Also it buries cities that are built beside the volcano. • If you are standing on the volcano when it erupts your going to have a problem or two. • Before the volcano erupts there are usually warnings. • Most volcanoes have holes in the side that let out lava.

Volcanic Safety Tips • First of all, make sure you have food and water. • You’ll need to fill up a bathtub with water to fight fires, or evacuate the city. • You’ll also need to find a safe place in your house. • Be prepared for mudslides, ash falling, flash floods, earthquakes, acid rain, and tsunamis. • If your outside seek shelter inside.
