  9. Topical • A topical scheme organizes items by subjects. Most websites provide some types of topical access.

  15. Hybrid schemes • These can combine multiple organizational schemes, but, unless the schemes are physically separated confusion will result. • For example, topical links could appear in a horizontal bar at the top and a left-handed bar could be task-oriented.
