Who is Hockney? • He is a famous artist that grew up sketching and drawing and later moved on to painting. • In the 80’s he started to create photo collages. • He took a road trip through America’s south west and snapped thousands of pictures where he later pieced them together.
Your assignment • Choose one area you want to create a photo collage of. • Take 20 pictures from the same vantage point • Shoot down, straight, side to side, and up. • Zoom in to about 50 to 70mm do not shoot with a wide angle lens. Keep your lens at the same setting for each picture.
