  4. Our progress 2015 set up ForViva Group Published Community Impact Strategy to deliver our Group Vision Owned by the Board who receive an annual statement on progress Set up the Board sponsored Impact Hub to: • Provide strategic direction • Challenge the feasibility of proposed activities • Monitor and challenge delivery

  5. Our process – Where we are now We evaluate using recognised methodologies Bringing the outcomes to life through photos, case studies and participant feedback is equally important to values (£) claimed

  6. Future plans • Each year find it easier to collect and report data which feeds into our Community Impact infographic • Strategy review to ensure it is still fit for purpose • Inviting more participants and partners to attend the Hub and talk about their experiences • Being involved in research studies such as the positive impact of music on people with Dementia

  7. Conclusion Employment - Apprenticeships Is it appropriate to put a financial value on ‘improving lives’? - We tell the personal side of the story as well as claiming the financial value People don’t always understand ‘social value’ – using plain language ‘the difference made’ helps Having a formal approval process ensures the investment is still delivering value to tenants You have to start somewhere but the Board is key to buy-in, relevance and accountability A transparent platform to monitor activities linked to service plans ensures we keep control (Software) Education - Digital Safe Communities – Parkour Diversionary Neighbourhood Improvements Health – Cooking
