Today’s plan • Greeting • Practice Quiz: QL Relationships • Lesson: Trapezoids • Review Conjectures • Homework / Questions • Clean-up
Trapezoids • A trapezoid is a quadrilateral with at least two parallel sides (called its bases). • An isosceles trapezoid is a trapezoid with equal legs. (The legs are the non-parallel sides.)
QL Conjectures • For reviewing the conjectures you’ve received: • Is the conjecture clear and unambiguous? • Does the conjecture say anything useful? • Can anything be changed to improve it? • Is it true? Can you prove it? • Would any of these conjectures prove any others?
Homework • 25 minutes: • Write conjectures about QLs. • Prove conjectures about QLs. • Post conjectures / comments / questions to Schoology. • Read Ch. 7 Lessons 2-4 • Asg #51-54 • Khan Academy problems
Clean-up / Reminders • Pick up all trash / items. • Push in chairs (at front and back tables). • See you tomorrow!
