EMODnet Chemistry 2 – 2nd Steering Committee, 20-21 January 2014 • Project Management (WP0) and administrative issues: • • The Service Contract (signed 16/8/2013), the CA (IFREMER, IMR, ULg, IOF missing) and the Subcontracts (11 sent, 3 to be finalised) • • Mailing lists (emodnet2-all@googlegroups.com, emodnet2-sc@googlegroups.com) and extranet (ICES to P01 mapping), web portal • • New institutes connected to the SDN network (ISPRA, SYKE, UkrSCES, SOI, Istanbul University, UHI-MB, YugNIRO). Need training? • • SDN technical contents in the Emodnet extranet (DM)

EMODnet Chemistry 2 – 2nd Steering Committee, 20-21 January 2014 • EMODnet Secretariat: • 3rd Progress Report with statistics on • number of CDI per Discovery Parameter – 1) volume of data • • number of CDI per Partner – 2) organization supplying data • To compute it easily from the CDI User Interface, we need improvements of the C19 vocabulary coverage and descriptions: • • addition of Macaronesia and Iberian coast (shape files needed) • • harmonization of the existing terms with MSFD regional seas (Baltic sea and Celtic sea)

EMODnet Chemistry 2 – 2nd Steering Committee, 20-21 January 2014 Data Products generation in sea regions (WP2): • Deadlines as indicated in the kick-off meeting: M6: start with products generation as DIVA maps and TS plots M9: start with regional products validation with local experts M12: first Expert workshop M9: Use of CHASE assessment tool in the North Sea (Martin M. Larsen), to be presented to the Expert workshop • Implication of data central buffer for product generation and new coastal visualization tools as discussed at the TWG (Dick Schaap)

Link between EMODnet Chemistry portal and the central portal
