Long Term GoalIP Knowledge Diffusion for Economic Competitiveness • To disseminate basic knowledge on IP to university students in • Science & technology • Management & Economics • To improve knowledge on specific topics for professionals (including practicing lawyers and judges dealing with IP issues)
Tools • MODULE. Promotion of 1 or 2 university credits on IP as a fundamental knowledge for students attending Science, Technology, Economics, Management Schools • COURSE. Promotion of at least 1 course on IP for students attending Science, Technology, Economics, Management Schools

Progress (I) • Promotion of IP courses • On December 15th, 2010, the Italian Conference of Italian Rectors (CRUI) approved a document including the suggestions of the Italian Road Map. A basic course of 2 credits will be promoted by the Rectors internally • Some time required to get things done • Delay due to university reform passed in December 2010 (law N. 244/2010)
