  2. This year we have celebrated Easter in April. It is the most important Christian festival, a very specific period of time for all the believers. At Easter we celebrate Christ’s Resurrection and His victory over death and sin. Easter egg is a symbol of new life.

  3. On Easter Saturday we go to church with our Easter baskets. Priest blesses our food which we eat on Easter Sunday.

  4. On Easter Sunday we meet our relatives for a festive breakfast. People wish one another Happy Easter and have an occasion to talk together, too.POLISH CAKE CALLED MAZUREK – eaten only at Easter

  5. CAKE OFTEN EATEN AT EASTER - SERNIK

  6. Easter Monday is celebrated by the Poles only.That day everyone can expect to be drenched with water, at least once. • GENERALLY SPEAKING, EASTER IS TIME OF HAPPINESS AND REBIRTH.
