  3. Primary areas of change addressed for the Third Edition: • Accumulator Functional Volume Requirements (FVR) will include new performance criteria. • FMEA requirements for new designs. • Additional specifications for secondary & emergency systems. • Align the specification with the requirements of Standard 53 & Recommended Practice 64. Specification 16D

  4. Open issues to be finalized for the Third Edition: • New examples for sizing accumulators. • Update of annexes for design input (BOP Stack data). • Finalize formatting for numerous sections. • Update normative references • Update glossary terms (consistent with other SC16 documents) Specification 16D

  5. Document content being finalized during Q3 2014. • Target date for ballot of document is 4th quarter of 2014. Specification 16D
