Ground Zero Basis for word usage and translations: blueletterbible.org or blb.org God is not a “person” but we are free to use human terms to describe God without being contradicted on this theme.
Step 1 Agreeing on the term “God”: Hebrew 2 main words: El (noun, masc, sing) Elohim (noun, masc & fem, sing) Gen 1:1 Both are seen in Gen 35:1 Elohim is speaking and refers to El who appeared to Jacob.
Step 2 YHWH is YHWH with no definitions or names until that subject comes up. Spirit = Holy spirit
Step 3 God has male & female essences Gen 1:27 YHWH = (noun, masc) Gen 2:4 Spirit = (noun, fem) Gen 1:2
Step 4 Body = physical form, angelic or human Spirit = spiritual form, body or not
Step 5 God exists. Has always existed. Will always exist.
Step 6 God (Elohim) is one. Hopefully, if we can agree on Elohim consisting of two essences, male and female, these two essences are inside of Elohim and therefore “God (Elohim) is one”.
Step 7 YHWH is male essence of Elohim. God (El) is YHWH.
Step 8 YHWH is “God, the Father”. YHWH is “King” and sits on a throne. YHWH is “Priest” Throne & temple are in Heaven.
Step 9 YHWH Elohim is also translated as LORD God. YHWH is addressed as God (El) or God + Adjective i.e. God Almighty, God who sees, etc
Step 10 Holy Spirit is the female essence of Elohim. Can be addressed as God’s Spirit. (Elohim’s Spirit) or God’s Spirit or YHWH’s Spirit (El’s Spirit)
Step 11 Holy Spirit consists of 7 spirits (Isaiah 11:2) Spirit of YHWH (God’s Spirit) Fear of YHWH Understanding Wisdom Power Knowledge Counsel
Step 12 God (El) is usually denoting YHWH and often you’ll see both in the sentence.
