    1. OIF-III – Standardized Vehicle Medical Kits 05053UA Project Image No image displayed. Description Requested by MCCDC. The need for a standard vehicle medical kit on b board vehicles used in convoy operations has been identified by Marine and Army forces deployed in support of OIF and OEF to counter wounds sustained from IED/RPG attacks during convoy operations.  The need cannot be met with the issued Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) alone. To standardize the vehicle medical kits Marine Corps wide, the requirement for a standard vehicle medical kit that includes medical supplies resembling those in the IFAK in increased quantities and a standard compact stretcher that can be easily stored on convoy vehicles is required. Proposed Solution $800 per kit for a quantity of 1,000 kits: $80,000. Status (as of 4 May 05) MCSC PM will source using OMMC funds.
