ANCIENT OLYMPIC GAMES Running • 4 Types • 1-Stade: run length of the stadium • 2-stade: 2 lengths of stadium • Long-distance: 7 to 24 stades • 2-4 stade with armor- 50-60 lbs Wrestling • Opponent must land on a hip, shoulder, or back for a fair fall • 3 throws to win • No biting, but could break fingers Pentathlon • Discus, javelin, jumping, running and wrestling.
