  11. POTASH

  12. GrowMax Potash Brine* Reservoir is located 6° south of the equator in the Sechura Desert. This hot windy climate makes the application of solar evaporation technology possible and recoveryof potashfrom the brine. The brine is pumped from multiple ponds as it becomes more concentrated due to evaporation until it crystallizes out of the liquid. From there, the potash is harvested & processed into solid potash. GrowMax will produce potash and carnalite with this eco-friendly method as carbon emissions are minimal and there are no harmful by-products,there are no large holes to be dug into the earth, as in open pit mining, and there is no need for men and equipment to go underground. *Brine: Highlymineralizedsaltywater Why growmax is using solar evaporation technology
