Show Daily Video Sponsorship Show Daily Video Sponsorship is a digital video product that is similar to our video showcase (booth video), but more of a breaking news type product. One clip is hosted on our site with link to vendor/advertiser’s site and included e-Newsletter promotion. Not live like our Live Videocast product, but more timely than our Video Showcase product. For clarification purposes. Timeline of the various video products is below: • Video Showcase: may be up to 10 days post show to get it live • Show Daily Video Sponsorship: posted usually within hours • Live Videocast: posted real-time This product can easily be sold to exhibitors as an add-on to their exhibition package.
Value Proposition The value of the Show Daily Video Sponsorship to an advertiser is that it builds on their presence at a given show and gives them exposure to a wider targeted audience than only event attendees, although event attendees will typically be included in the promotion. The promotional email goes out during the show, and therefore “rides along” with promotion and interest in that show. Additional value is offered by our professional product efforts. Cost is lower than live, but more timely than our lower cost Video Showcase product.
Package/Pricing This package features event coverage “from the show floor” and is based around a series of PennWell produced video clips. • The Package • Video hosted in dedicated player on dedicated page on site • Top & Bottom leaderboard ad on video player page • Promotion from site home page with sponsor mention as text link • One e-mail blast during show • Top & Bottom leaderboard & skyscraper in e-mail blast • Recommended price • $10,000 - $15,000 (sole sponsorship)
Creative Requirements There are no technical length restrictions, but user studies show that attention spans are short when viewing online video. Clip length recommendation for editorial content is no longer than 3 minutes. Typically Pennwell produces the video for this product, but if not, Brightcove allows conversion of files from the following file formats: .WMV; .MOV; .AVI; .MPEG2; .MPEG4; .3GP; .DV; h.264 Where and which player the video needs to be loaded into must be specified by the sales person. It is the sales person's responsibility to actually collect this creative or ensure that the Video Production team has submitted the materials. All materials should be sent to the editorial team member that loads videos OR, if unknown, your digital media product manager to load.
