  21. Example #3 – Find the quotients. Describe the relationships you notice. 9 0.9 81 ÷ 9 = ____ 8,1 ÷ 9 = _____ 8.1 is 10 times smaller than 81 and so is the quotient (0.9 x10 = 9). Example #4 – Are quotients below reasonable? Why or why not? 6.3 ÷ 7 = 9 No, 6.3 is less than 7. If we were splitting it into 7 groups there would be less than 1 whole in each group.
