System Info • SAN: Storage Area Network is an architecture to attach remote computer data storage devices (such as disk arrays, tape libraries etc.) to servers so the devices appear as locally attached to the operating system. • 107 databases with 61 databases affected • 150 servers affected • 24.7 Terabytes of data

  3. Virtualization • 83 of KDHE’s servers are virtualized. • To build an application in the virtual world is $1,000; to build a stand-alone server is $5,000.

  4. Staff Hours and Cost • 458 employee hours with total of $12,540 • Working with vendors to determine what will be covered by them.
