What comes to mind when you think of Christian colleges? • Small campus • Conservative ideals • Chapel attendance required • Sheltered and protected environment • Students and professors are not open-minded • Professors care about their students • Party atmosphere is not as prevalent • Academics are less rigorous • Lack of diversity But is this really true?

  5. So what is a Christian college? • Official policy generally follows a Biblical worldview • Efforts are made to integrate faith into all aspects of learning, including academic and social experiences on campus • Graduation requirements typically include some element of Bible coursework

Questions that Reveal the Differences • Is your campus affiliated with a particular denomination? • Do you require students and/or professors to sign a statement of faith? • Is chapel attendance required? If so, how often does chapel meet? • What is your policy for visitation in residence halls of the opposite gender?
