  2. Out door safety • When you are hunting fishing hiking anything like that you need… • Water • Food • Some type of shelter (tarp, tent) • STOP!

  3. Water.. In the high Uintahs.. That is were most scouts and people hike.. In the Uintahs it is cicled by a road. And every river leads to those roads. If you get lost in there find a river and go to the road.

  4. Food. • You can eat grass and or rasberries. But be careful about berries. But if can stay hydrated.

  5. shelter • Shelter if you are lost and don’t have anything. You need to dig a hole. Get in it and bury yourself into the dirt that way you can stay warm. On top of you, if you can find a place where 3 to 4 trees are hooked and put branches over you so you cant get wet.

  6. STOP! • S-stop moving • T-think • O-organize • P-plan

  7. S • S- stop… • Stay where you are because if you don’t have anything like a compass you can be going the wrong way that you should be going.

  8. T • T- think.. Think about what you should do and where you should be to stay warm.

  9. O- • O-organize…. • Be organized. If you have food and water don’t waste because you never know how long you are going to be lost and or in the mountains.

  10. P • P- plan.. • Plan about your next move. You shouldn’t move but.. If you see smoke from a fire or camp go to there if it is close, and wait for the people to get back. Unless stay where you are.

  11. Health triangle.

  12. Mental. • mentally- • When you are lost your brain will make you think that you are hearing people. But your just going louny. (:

  13. Social. • Socially- • If you know all of this stuff you can make new friends that like to be in the out doors. Like me(:

  14. Physical. • Physically- • Before you go hiking or anything you need to go over were you are in the mountains. And what you should always have with you. And you need to be a little in shape. (:

  15. My family. • My family when ever we go hiking or something we always have a whistle with us. Even me. (:
