ISS ALL ABOUT DA ‘TUDE • Remember when you use the subjunctive it is all about hopes, dreams, and wishes. • Bonquiqui’s wishes are KNOWN through her emotions… • In SPANISH we not only express it through our emotions, but through a MOOD within a TENSE. • When you want to use the subjunctive you need to include a word that indicates to the listener that you are going to talk about what you dream/hope/wish about.

Because the first step to creating a subjunctive conjugation is to determine the yo form of the regular present tense, any verb that is irregular in the yo form of the present tense will carry that irregularity in all forms of the subjunctive present tense.
