Community Colleges • Apply online in Spring • Take Placement Test • Free • Testing Center at Community College • DO NOT NEED ACT/SAT TEST • Meet with a community college advisor to get schedule • Final Senior Transcript –request at senior checkout
University Application Process • In State Applications • Apply Online • $25 -NAU; $50 for ASU & U of A • Grand Canyon Univ - Free • May apply without SAT/ACT scores • Requires an Official Transcript • Transcript Request Forms in Career Center or DVHS.dvusd.org

ACT/SAT Test Information • ACT- 36 points possible – 22 is average • Tested on English, Math, Reading & Science Reasoning • SAT -800 per section – 1040 is average • Tested on Critical Reading, Math, & Writing (only scores that are used are Reading & Math) • Superscoring
ACT / SATTest Information • Tests should be taken ASAP! • Tests can be retaken - colleges will take the best scores. • Register Online • Test scores can be sent even after you have applied. • DVHS does NOT send scores; must come from testing center
