  2. Naixement i història -Neix oficialment a França a mitjans del segle XII, en el 1140, succeïnt el romànic. -Començament com a “error del romànic”.

  3. Característiques -Representació d’una actitud més positiva davant la vida. -Gran nivell de llum. -Estructures majoritàriament esveltes. -Planta de creu llatina.

  4. Elements arquitectònics característics -Arc ogival: arc en forma de punta de fletxa. Permet fer els edificis més alts. -Rosassa: obertura circular normalment feta de vitrall. -Pinacles: ‘’torres’’ -Arcbotant: element arquitec- tònic utilitzat per repartir el pes com el contrafort. -Volta de creueria: conjunt de dos arcs ogivals.
