Team: • Good attendance at the first meeting – 16 members • Expecting18 members for the 2nd meeting in Chicago. • Expecting active participation from WG members. TEAM: • Diversified team from CIGRE (equipment manufacturers, utilities, universities). Number of young members! • Looking for additional MV utility members from South America, Europe and Middle East • Only one member from CIRED. No CIRED liaison has been nominated. WG A3.32 AR 2012
Work progress: Phase 1: Team building and data gathering phase (2014) • Collected and in process of reviewing 50+ white papers on Condition assessment. Collected individual contributions from the team. • Creating database of existing diagnostic methods. To compile all methods • Created definition and categories for Non-Intrusive WG A3.32 AR 2014
Work progress: • Created CIGRE WG website http://a3.cigre.org/WG-Area/WG-A3.32-Non-intrusive-methods-for-condition-assessment • Created subfolders and tables for document control. Uploaded 50+ white papers and contributions • Created bibliography and indexed all the documents. WG A3.32 AR 2012
Work progress: • Created 5 page Utility survey (T&D Switchgear Condition Assessment survey). • Objective is to collect data from utilities around the world to better understand current condition assessment practices and future trends for condition assessment in Power Industry. • What would be the best way to conduct the survey?
