Drinking Water : To supplement 56 Nos. of drinking water tanks and also summer storage tanks S1 & S2 at Ongole. Stage : The work is divided into 3 packages and the tenders were finalised for 2 Packages and Agency fixed for 2 Packages 1 Package: Formation of Southern earth bund, out fall regulator, SM/s Harvins Constructions Ltd. Rs. 5.15 Crs. 2 Package: Formation of Western earth bund, spillway,M/s Nagarjuna Constructions Ltd. Rs. 18.10 Crs. 3 Package: Improvements to Karavadi Major lead channel, Land acquisition. Tenders to be called for Reservoir Capacity :1.514 TMC Present Stage: : INVESTIGATION AND DESIGNS – COMPLETED Quarrying operation got court stay orders. Work not in progress. LAND ACQUISITION Land Required: 995 Acres. Land Acquired: 969.32 Acres. FINANCIAL Budget Provision : Rs. 0.40 Crs. Expe. up to 1/2006 : Rs. 2.00 Crs. Agrmt value (2 PKGs): Rs. 23.25 Crs.
