  6. Senior AFROTC Program • Recruit, Educate, Commission Officer Candidates • Located at over 140 Colleges/Universities • Different Programs • Take AFROTC Classes Like other College Classes (No Obligation) • Instructors (Active Duty=Assistant Professor)

  7. Four-Year Program • General Military Course (GMC) • First Two Years • Classroom and Lab • Professional Officer Course (POC) • Selective • May Contract • Requires Completion of Field Training • Last Two Years • Classroom and Lab

  8. Two-Year Program • Last Two Years of AFROTC • Unable to Complete First Two Years • POC Classes and Lab • Selective • Requires Field Training Completion

  9. One-Year Program • One-Year Program • Meets USAF Shortfalls in Certain Fields • Selective • Requires Field Training Completion

  10. Field Training • Two Camps (4 or 6 Weeks) • Hands-on Application and Training • Attendance Traditionally Between Sophomore-Junior Year • Required for Entry to POC • Must Pass Air Force Officer Qualifying Test • Must Pass Medical Examination
