  3. The Crazy Day • Just as Kate was thinking about all that had happened that day, James was also thinking about what had happened, while he was trapped inside his own mind.

  4. What makes this piece special? It is something that can really happen at any time in life. Why did you choose it? It was one of my best pieces of all year. What inspired you to write it? I really just wrote from my heart. How does it enhance your project? The story is interesting and would make the portfolio more interesting. The Crazy Day

  5. Journal #1 • When they do that to me, I try to either ignore them or do really good so they can’t expect anything better.

  6. What makes this piece special? The story came from my real feelings. Why did you choose it? I felt that it was interesting and appropriate. What inspired you to write it? I wanted to let my feelings known. How does it enhance your project? It lets people see how I feel. Journal #1

  7. Crime and Punishment • The crime of stealing peoples organs from the poor and giving them to the rich is unacceptable because you can not take someone’s organs from there body and give them to the wealthy.

  8. What makes this piece special? It tells people what is actually happens in real life. Why did you choose it? It really shows a deep meaning to my work. What inspired you to write it? I learned of what was happening in India and I had to let my feelings out. How does it enhance your project? It really shows how concerned younger people can be. Crime and Punishment

  10. What makes this piece special? It shows a fun side to writing. Why did you choose it? I think people will like it and maybe like to play the game. What inspired you to write it? It was a fun way to express myself. How does it enhance your project? I gives a more fun aspect to the project. Design a Game

  11. Persuasive Letter • If you did not know this, studies show that music can help enhance a student’s learning experience.

  12. What makes this piece special? I shows how I feel about the no iPod rule. Why did you choose it? It will let people know my feelings. What inspired you to write it? I wanted the principal to know my feelings How does it enhance your project? I gives a more deep perspective on my feelings. Persuasive Letter

  13. Trackstar #1 • Tobacco companies use methods that attract kids to their product.

  14. What makes this piece special? People will learn what tobacco companies are doing to influence kids. Why did you choose it? It is inspirational and promotes change. What inspired you to write it? Kids should not have to suffer just so cigarette companies can make money. How does it enhance your project? It will give my project a sense of a real life problem.   15. Cloning Essay • Although people would say that cloning can save lives, there are many problems that go with it as well.
