  2. Introduction Inside E-learning technologies, that envolves: e-learnings platforms (moodle, sakay,..), web pages, SMIL, webseminars, chats, forums, .... Polimedia it’s what we call, “High quality audiovisual asynchronous virtual presence contents”

  3. What is Polimedia? Polimedia it is not an e-learning platform on itself. It’s an extra piece that you can use in any e-learning platform

  4. Why we use Polimedia? If the teacher profile it’s not a technician it’s hard for him to produce high quality audiovisual self-production. It’s for that reason that the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia has developed this tool. The studio and technician (computer science / multimedia profile ) add an extra level in terms of quality of production. The teacher uses only the time needed to prepare and fit his contents for this new medium and the time of the live recording. The digital content generated it’s ready to use. Low cost studios with high quality results

POLIMEDIA workshops Normally, the training it’s divided in two diferent workshops: - A training workshop for the teachers, to make them know about the tools, learn how to adapt their contents and learn how to stand in front the camera. - A training workshop for the technicians who are the ones that will make the production. Polimedia Avicena workshop will mix those two worshops in one.
