  1. The Goal Author: Josh Y.

  2. This book Is about Max. He likes to play hockey. Here he is in his dressing room.

  3. Max can do all the moves. He can skate around the defenders so they are spinning. He can stick handle so the puck looks glued to his stick.

  4. Max had one problem – he could not score. He would try again and again but it would not go into the net. The truth was he didn’t have a hard shot.

  5. It was the championship game. Max finished the season with the highest amount of assists with 27 and no goals.

  6. Max’s team was playing the #1Sailors. They never lost this season.

  7. In the first period there was no scoring but in the 2nd it was1-1 and in the 3rd it was 2-2. The game had to go into overtime.

  8. In overtime Max got on a break away. The goalie was expecting an easy shot. However, Max let a hard shot go.

  9. Max had scored and his team won the championship!!!
