Power My inspiration for my power artefact came from the word control I wanted to show two different sides of being in control and out of control and from researching and developing my ideas I came up with the idea to do a hostage situation where a person is not in control of their destiny I got this idea because when the artefact deadline was made it was coming up to Halloween and because Halloween is coming and there were loads of different scary movies I wanted to go with the theme of Halloween and do a scary situation

Research • When I began my research into power I looked up the following criteria such as government and parliament etc it was very interesting for me so I decided to look up power from different angles i only thought of power has physical I never thought of the mental aspect so I decided to start brainstorming ideas . • A missionary and to their lectures for research and development of power • http://shireen1988.wordpress.com/2010/10/08/hello-world/

Clip for power if clip don’t work go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=dE8cOXTNINI As you can see from the clip above it looks very raw I want to do is look to make it look as real as possible so that he could influence my viewers overall I do like the outcome of a power video because it did exactly what I wanted to do I wanted to show two different sides of power and also to show control which is another form of power Personal feedbacks that I got back from the power video was all positive they mentioned that the mask of frightened them and their fire sense of realism from there was a few negative comments about the quality of the film ball they didn't seem to understand that that was the look I was going for when you watch a terrorist movie is not perfectly still and its role in energy if a serial killer was to take you tomorrow they will not take a timeout and make a great looking movie it will be disorientated I wanted to bring a edgy look to give it a realism

My inspiration spectacle • the inspiration of spectacle was simple and easy it was my power video that inspired me to do my spectacle video I wanted to do a sequel to how people would react from seeing the power video I know people's feedbacks and reactions both these needy students if this video was a new tube to be downloaded and if it was real I Want to see the actual reaction so I decided to do it for my spectacle to show that real reaction

Clip for Spectacleif clip don't work go tohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=7pDwMwsggoA • this clip got some very mixed reviews some good some bad allow people couldn’t understand where I was going with my idea my idea was to make a video based on a person's reaction once seen my power video and did it based on what I would do when I saw a video on you Tube and how I react • the reaction I got back from the video was then talking about the quality of their but again they didn't understand I wanted it to be a sequel so would make sense of changing the reality of what i was trying to go for

My inspiration for memory • my inspiration for memory again I wanted it to be linked to my previous artefacts so I decided to do a scene where Girl is sleeping and having bad dreams about the power video what she watched I just do this because own personal experiences as a child I was terrified of horror movies so I decided to do my memory video based on that there are lots of different types of horror movies that stay with me and they are still staging even as adults I am not afraid of them anymore but they still frighten me as a child and cannot forget the memory of them and also the memory of how I felt so I wanted my clip to portray that memory of bad dreams

Memory research • For my research from memory I still get with the same type of research the spectacle and looked at figures such as Martin Luther King Jr I did this because he is memorable and he stories are linked to my family history with objects so I found a better understanding of how to explore the topic of memory by linking a two figures that I have learnt about has a child • http://shireen1988.wordpress.com/2010/11/26/research-and-development-on-memory/

Clip for memoryif clip don’t work go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=_H0eH_oextQ My memory clip again got mixed reviews to understand my artistic approach while I wanted was to show how your dreams are a part of your memory you work through certain topics in your dreams and its link to your memory even though I still get the same consistency of my previous videos I felt that this video was different in my approach I used more effects The reaction I got back was the same as the last two videos where there were none about the quality again the feedback was not very helpful

  11. conclusion • my conclusion to the three artefacts that I made I enjoyed making them an offer that helped my development process I could only say that I wished for my peers to be more understanding and to give the correct feedback that I wanted more has I know you cannot pick your feedback and it's good to get different points of view for my future artefact I know that I need to explore and develop more like you have a wider understanding of how I can make my future ideas work and execute them in a better manner which everybody would enjoy • For more information go to • http://shireen1988.wordpress.com/2010/12/10/conclusion-evaluation/
