Mining Engineer: Main Duties -Design shafts, ventilation systems, mine services, haulage systems and supporting structures. -Drill and blasting methods for mining, construction or demolition. -Safely and efficiently move mining deposits. -Plan, design, organize and supervise the making of mines. -Supervise the extraction of metallic or non-metallic minerals and ores from underground or surface mines.

  5. Education & Training Requirements -For this job, I will need to have a Bachelor's degree.

Statistics -60% of this occupation is in the lower mainland. -A salary per year is $127,180 only if you work full time for the whole year. -14% of women are working in this profession -Mining engineers work with geologists, geological engineers, metallurgical engineers, and other engineers and scientists.

Main Duties -Supervise other chemists, chemical technicians and technologists. -Research to discover, develop, refine and evaluate new products. -Technical consultant at a particular field of expertise. -Investigate aspects of the mechanisms of drug action, diagnosis and treat diseases, organ function plus the assessment of health -Develop and conduct programs of analysis to make sure of the quality control of raw materials, chemical intermediates or final products.

  15. Main Duties -Check patients' teeth, gums and jaws to diagnose disease, injury and decay. -Prevent cavities, plaque and unhealthy gums. -Straighten crooked or spaced out teeth. -Supervise groups that work on patients. -Use X-ray machines, drills, mouth mirrors and forceps.

Education & Training Requirements - If your making medicine you will need a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. -Doctor of Dental Surgery degree or Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree. -Or if you are making medicine you need the Dental Medicine degree. -All dentists must go to a College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia (CDSBC). -Takes four years to complete and includes some clinical experience.
