  2. Venus • Venus is the secind plaint in the solar system • Venus is 108 million km and Venus is 67 million miles away from the sun • If you travel from mercury to Venus it will take us 30 million miles of space to get to venus

  3. Pluto • The space craft New Horizons went to space in 2006. It will fly past Pluto in 2015. • Pluto was discovered in 1930. • Pluto is the second dwarf planet. • Pluto was reclassified in 2006.

  4. The Sun The sun is a star. Its too bright to look atheat fromthe Sun. The Sun is the only Sun in our solar system.

  7. JUPITER • 1,300 Earths can fit inside it • Named after Roman God King • Orange and white gas clouds circle the planet • Has a storm x2 as big as Earth • The Red Spot is over 300 years old

  8. SUN • The sun is a star. • The Earth would be a frozen without heat from the sun • The sun is the only star in our solar system.

  10. Jupiter • Jupiter is so large 1300 earths could fit inside it • Jupiter is called “the king of planets” because it is so large • Since Jupiter is a gas-gaint it has a thick atmosphere that gradually merges into liquid or frozen gas.

  11. Pluto • Pluto orbits the opposite way as the other planets Pluto sometimes is closer to the sun than Neptune • Pluto is bigger then other things that orbit the sun • Nit and Hydra was found in 2005 • In 2006 scientists called Pluto a dwarf planet

  14. Neptune • Gas makes Neptune ‘s • Cooler. In 1982 voyager 2 flew by Neptune's dark spot and dissipered from neptune’s dark spot. Neptune has’t completed a orbit scence 1800’s
