Program Overview • The Student Experts are an elite group of students who work together to support each other. • Objectives: • train and promote the next generation of engineering, architecture, and design students • to find the best and brightest students and support them as they take leadership roles on campus. • an extension of Autodesk team on campus. • Program benefits include: • The opportunity to learn about Autodesk design tools • Training from Autodesk Solution Specialists and other Student Experts • Specialized presentation skills training • Free Autodesk Certification • Access to the Autodesk Certified Instructor program • Autodesk SWAG • Networking opportunities • Travel to represent students at Autodesk events • Activities: • Promote the Autodesk Student Community • Help make connections with faculty on campus • Execute software demos and workshops • Be a resource for other students on campus • Make recommendations on program improvements • Help build strategy for spreading Autodesk product on campus • Webcasts, Videos, Blogging • Participate in Monthly calls with other experts
Student Experts’ Role on Campus • Increase awareness and affinity for Autodesk on Campus • Reach out to department students and faculty • Attend Autodesk/industry events • Be a mentor and resource to peers on campus • Provide peer mentoring • Post tips and tricks • Host meetings to share ideas and knowledge • Facilitate student training • Host training workshops • Post blogs • Facilitate Edu team visits
