Pain Point Findings • Find easy way to deploy faxes, printers and scanners • Video Conferencing Capabilities • Upgrade telecommunication network and infrastructure • Look into upgrading network link to MWP data centre. • Investigate a biometric control system to manage work times of machinery and employees Technology • Company Code Merger impact on SAP solution and how the business will work going forward. • Freightware Upgrade Solution • Deploy SAP PP solution for TGS and TSS • Investigate a Warehouse Solution • SAP R2 rollout • Find alternative to current Overtime Solution and NDT (non destructive testing) • Enable same SAP solutions as Eskom for HR and Finance dept. • Allow integration between SAP and in-house Vehicle Tracking solution • Find a solution to verify e-Toll Vehicle claims • Fix Hyperwave synch issues when using the explorer • Implement Primavera RR wide • Finalise solution for SHERQ requirements • Investigate possibility of RR having read-only access onto Eskom outage management systems and condition monitoring solutions. • SAP Reject button and notifications • Legacy Modernization Solutions
Pain Point Findings • Flexibility to deploy infrastructure for temp staff and temp sites • Ensure IM stakeholder management is done with all users at all levels • Deploy technicians to do RR site support • Look into management of 3G & cellular phone contracts • Issue out internet, cellular phone and 3G usage stats • Investigate RR mobility requirements • Introduce IM/IT change management Support
