Seed Projects Seed Projects can be: • Pilot projects which test and evaluate an original idea, including those that plan to build into full proposals, or • Stand-alone, small-scale projects, or • Projects which build the capacity of early-career academics, including projects which are led by early career academics. Seed Project Criteria • Clearly articulated outcomes and a clear argument demonstrating how the project will address one of the program priorities andcontribute to the enhancement of learning and teaching in higher education • A strong theoretical framework grounded in the literature • A set of strategies which is considered, coherent & appropriate to the outcomes the project is designed to achieve • An approach that is in general alignment with the commitments of the OLT andobjectives under Section 3 • Alignment between plans for the dissemination/embedding of the successful strategies andoutcomes and the project design • A sound argument for the value and need for the project • Athorough approach to project management, including a preliminary allocation of responsibilities among the team members University of Adelaide
Seed Projects: Applications • Applications are limited to 5 A4 pages • Aims (55 words in the online form) • Abstract (155 words in the online form) • Keywords (20 words in the online form) • Rationale and Aims • Project Approach • Deliverables and Outcomes • Attachments • Letter of Endorsements from lead and partner institutions • Timeline, budget and budget justification • Project team details • Design specifications (for applications proposing technical developments) University of Adelaide
OLT Grants – Application Process • Submit Expression of Interest: Monday 24 February • Attend seed projects workshop: mid-March • Submit final application for internal assessment: Monday 12 May • Receive formal letter of University endorsement • Submit to OLT via online Portal : Monday 16 June University of Adelaide
