Monkey Description • Here is the monkeys description. • Monkeys have brown, black or silver fur. • They have big eyes, noses, and mouths. • Male monkeys have narrower noses than females. • Pigmy parmisiss pig monkey have the furriest fur. • Most monkeys weigh 1.5 to 2.5 lbs.                                  <>

  7. Habitat • Most monkey’s live in rainforest’s, in Asia, Africa, and North America. • In Asia and Africa. There are rainforest and in the rainforest their are canopy’s. Canopy’s are trees that hang low and are in the middle of the jungle, canopy’s are good for monkeys because they can move Quickly.

  9. Continued Habitat • Lot’s of rainforest’s are getting cut down so more monkey’s are going to zoos and getting dropped of at swamps. • Hope you learned about the monkeys habitat.

  11. Monkey’s Diet • Monkeys eat bananas, lettuce, leaves, fruit, flowers, nectar, insects, tree sap, reptiles, and small mammals. • They also eat, vertebrates, bugs, eggs, and berries. • Monkeys eat all the foods that come from the jungle.

  12. Monkey’s Relatives • Monkeys are related to gorillas, golden headed lion tamer, humans, and chimpanzees.

Monkeys Babies • Monkeys carry their babies on their backs and on their belly the babies feel more secure on the bellies. • Mom’s breast feed their babies. • The babies know math and live science. • When the baby is 1 week old it starts to crawl around. • At about 3 weeks old they hop like a frog.

  14. Monkeys Enemies • Monkeys enemies are tigers and snakes. • Monkeys are not endangered species. • Some monkeys honk their noses to scare away their enemies. • Monkeys have some weird ways to scare away enemies.

  15. Interesting facts • Here are some interesting facts about monkeys. • Monkeys use baby talk with infants. • There are only 400 different kinds of types of monkeys in the world.

  16. Continued interesting facts • Bacteria is in their stomach pouch to help digest leaves. • People in Japan worship monkeys for good luck. • Monkeys hang upside down on their tails. • They can never catch a cold. • Those are weird facts.
