  4. The subject of sociology deals with the development and functioning of society, social communities, social relationships and processes and the mechanism and principles of their interaction. • The object of sociology represents the number of all the social relationships and interaction.

THE MAIN TERMS OF SOCIOLOGY • A society is a group of individuals, which is characterized by common interest and may have distinctive culture and institutions. • Social relation can refer to a multitude of social interactions, regulated by social norms, between two or more people, with each having a social position and performing a social role. • Social norm is a rule that is socially enforced. • Social interaction is a dynamic, changing sequence of social actions between individuals (groups) who modify their actions and reactions according to the actions by their interaction partners.
