  5. e si è trasformato in un ricco e spregiudicato armatore che gestisce l’attività mercantile insieme al fratello Nicolas e ai suoi figli

  6. compresa la minore Joséphine che, nonostante sia una donna, è riuscita a convincere il padre, prima a darle la stessa educazione dei fratelli e, poi, ad affidarle una delle sue navi…

  7. non è facile, però, per una donna, nella Francia dell’800, comandare una nave, ma Joséphine ha coraggio e determinazione e non vuole rinunciare alla sua libertà…
