Hanjer Biotech organized the Hanjer Trash Bash as a branded event wherein the people at large celebrate waste as a positive resource, and that better handling of waste can lead to major environmental benefits. Hanjer Biotech Pune did an awareness campaign which involved various activities aimed at educating people about the right ways to dispose waste in the bin, and largely with a memorable message to keep their cities clean.

The Concept • Trash Bash is a branded event wherein the people at large celebrate waste as a positive resource, and that better handling of waste can lead to major environmental benefits
The Trash Bash event will be held at all the Hanjer Cities (where hanjer plants are located) across India on a periodical basis, eventually making it an annual event • 20 Hanjer Cities across India will be venues for this fun event • The event will be held in the most popular malls of the city and on a Sunday • Entry shall be free
The four pillars that Trash Bash is based on • Celebrating Trash – Municipal Waste • Civic message to handle waste better and responsibly • Realizing value out of Waste • Fostering love for their own city
Message • People will go home educated about the right ways to dispose waste in the bin, and largely with a memorable message to keep their cities clean.
Benefits • Society at larger will be informed about the benefits of putting waste into a bin. They will know that waste can be transformed into energy, compost for plant cultivation, green products and recyclable products. • People will go back with a greater sense of responsibility, loyalty and love towards their home cities with the message, ‘I love (green heart – a Hanjer property) my city’. • Event partners who believe in the initiative get publicity for a good cause and can actively assign Trash Bash to their own CSR efforts.
