Senate Bill 1908 and 4 Requires End of Course Assessments taken by students on computers in: • Algebra • Geometry • Biology • US History • Civics For High Schools 50% of the school’s grade will be based on FCAT-related factors and the remaining 50% will be based on factors that include: • Graduation rate for the school & the at-risk group • Performance and participation in AP, IB, Dual Enrollment, AICE, and industry-certification • Post-secondary readiness as measured by the SAT, ACT, or PERT • Performance on End of Course assessments

  8. 2011-12 Proposed Changes to School Grades • Different Grading Scale • School Grading Scale Trigger • Every time the percentage of ‘A’ and ‘B’ schools reaches 75% in a current year, the minimum required points for grades of A, B, C, and D would be increased.
