What Do We Collect? • Free- and reduced-price lunch data • Used for identifying Title I schools, as designated by school districts • Reported to the Bureau of Student Assistance • Added to the Master School ID File • Title I program models • Private school participation • Highly-qualified teachers and paraprofessionals

  3. What Do We Collect? • Data are collected though the Student Demographic, Federal/State Compensatory Project Evaluation, and Staff Demographic Reporting Formats

  4. How Do We Use the Data? • Determining Title I school eligibility (based on percent of students on free- or reduced-price lunch) • School districts use the same data to determine allocations to Title I schools • Determining the amount of funds districts must set-aside for highly-qualified teachers • Reporting data to the US Department of Education

  5. Reporting • Consolidated State Performance Report (CSPR) – Data Elements • Participation in Title I Programs • Title I Schools In Need of Improvement, Corrective Action, or Restructuring • Title I Districts in Need of Improvement or Corrective Action

Reporting • Consolidated State Performance Report (CSPR) – Data Elements • Teacher and paraprofessional quality • Core academic classes taught by highly-qualified teachers in high-poverty and low-poverty elementary and secondary schools • “High poverty” = upper quartile • Elementary schools with greater than 75.0% and secondary schools with greater than 57.4% FRPL • “Low poverty” = bottom quartile • Elementary schools with less than 33.4% and secondary schools with less than 20.5% FRPL

Supplemental Educational Services (SES) – Provider Evaluation By May 1 of each year, each supplemental educational services provider must report to the Department of Education,unless a prior agreement has been made with the local school district, in an electronic form prescribed by the department, the following information regarding services provided to public school students in the district: 1.  Student learning gains as demonstrated by mastery of applicable benchmarks or access points set forth in the Sunshine State Standards; 2.  Student attendance and completion data; 3.  Parent satisfaction survey results; 4.  School district satisfaction survey results received directly from the school district; and 5.  Satisfaction survey results received directly from the school district which were completed by principals in whose schools onsite supplemental educational services were provided.
