Title I, Part A Program Code (field 5 of Program Fact) T1A This Code is used to identify Title I, Part A Students. In School wide Schools all student have a TIA in field 5. In Targeted Schools only students that receive TIA services have the TIA in field 5. T1C This Code is used to identify Title I, Part C Migrant Education Program Students.
Title I, Part A Program Codes Added in 2011-12 (field 5 of Program Fact) T1A-PR This Code is used to identify Title I, Part A private school students that are receiving Title I services provided by the district where the private school is located. T1A-ND This code is used to identify Title I, Part A students that are enrolled or reside in Neglected and Delinquent programs or facilities that receive Title I, Part A services. Do not use this code for students that are enrolled or reside in programs or facilities served by Title I, Part D.

Title I , Part C Migrant Education ProgramWho are Migrant Students? • They have been identified through an eligibility process by the district migrant coordinator (often are the Federal Programs Director). • They have been identified by the federal Migrant Data Exchange system – MSIX and have had their eligibility verified. • Immigrant students are often confused with Migrant. In order to be identified as Migrant the Immigrant students must be identified through the eligibility process.

Staff Compensation STATE + FEDERAL + T1A + T1C + T2 + MEDICAID + PUBLIC + PRIVATE = 100 Compensation type = TIA or TIC Compensation Category = FEDPGM Compensation Percent = % paid by TIA or TIC entered as a whole number where 50% = 50. Aggregate at the district level for teachers that work at multiple locations.
Staff Compensation Example: A reading teacher works at all four Title I elementary schools. Each location has this teacher as a 25 FTE. This teacher’s total FTE is 100.
