A Review of HYIS Previously we have had HYIS on the following: • Non-linguistic representation • Cooperative learning • Summarizing and note-taking • Setting objectives/providing feedback
HYIS Jeopardy Review • Using the Jeopardy answer sheet, everyone answers every question. • If you pick the question, it’s double jeopardy for you, and thus double points. • Each incorrect answer is a negative point total to your score. • Do your best!

Consenso-gram on homework & practice • Surveys similar to the one you’ve use on Homework & Practice can also be used to survey your students – even as an assessment tool. • Consensograms are a great way to poll your students. • Place one blue dot for each statement indicating whether you agree or disagree.
Gallery Walk • Before diving into the research… we are going to ask you to travel through our Gallery Walk • Posted in the halls are several posters with statements about homework and practice. • Take a few post-it notes and places any thoughts or opinions about these statements. • When everyone returns, we will review statements and discover some common themes.
