Fewer stops for your PTRs & PTAs! The initial review by Academic Affairs of Permissions to Recruit and Proposals to Appoint has been ABOLISHED! This should decrease the timeline for approvals of your PTRs & PTAs. Now that Budget & HR are now in the same building, the routing order has been modified for additional time efficiency. Fiscal Officers should now deliver their PTRs & PTAs to the Affirmative Action Office. • New Routing • Department • Dean • Affirmative Action • Budget Office • Human Resource • Provost Office • Prior Routing • Department • Dean • Provost Office • Budget Office • Affirmative Action • Human Resource • Provost Office
Other Modifications to PTRs & PTAs • We have added a section in the “Type of Appointment” where HR will mark if a position is “Overtime Subject” or “Exempt from Overtime.” • “Overtime Subject” employees will need to turn in timesheets. • “Exempt from Overtime” employees will need to fill out the monthly leave roster to report sick or vacation time they have used. • Fiscal officers now have a signature line at the bottom of the form. Those fiscal officer’s authorized to sign for their dean can continue to do so.
