  5. Project Request • Project Request By: Larry Overholt • Project Description: • Connect 10 Computers at the Vocational School to the Internet • Install Windows XP and Microsoft Office to all 10 Computers • Install Antivirus to all 10 Computers

  6. Our Goal Connect 10 Computers to the Internet Install 10 Computers with Spanish Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2007 Install AVG Antivirus on all Computers Run Window Updates on all 10 Computers

  7. Project Impacts Working Computers will Allow Students to Participate in Computer Classes Computer Lab Set-Up Will be a Model for a Future Computer Lab at the Overholt Home to be Used for Online Nursing Classes

  8. Project Components – Before the Trip Buy Network Cards Ensure that there is Internet Capabilities in Honduras Ensure that there is Enough Computer Equipment in Honduras Acquire Microsoft Office 2007 and Windows XP Licenses

  10. Problems Encountered Software was in Spanish Internet Cable Went Through a Hole in the Ceiling Windows Updates Took a Long Time Desk did not Allow Access to Computers
