  2. Introduction • Dictator: Dr. Cary Fechtor • Dictator will dictate and record dictations by telephone device (Office, home, Cell phone etc), if you have a phone and signal to a very simple and easy to use automated service. • Easy 3 steps

  3. Quick 3 easy steps • Step 1, Dial the toll free number • Step 2, When you get prompt, Enter you Secure ID. • Step 3, Ready to dictate • Press 2 to record dictation • Press 5 to Quick save. To Check Job Number. • Press # To Play back • Press 1 1-803-753-1600 or 1-866-377-0165 1111 2 3 1 Start Recording Rewind Play back 5 6 4 Quick Save End Of File Pause 8 9 7 Abort Job Save Menu Fast Forward 0 # * Beginning of File Job # prompt Main Menu

  4. Transcription • Once dictation is transcript, the word documents of patient will be place in • Columbia lung and sleep directory under • subdirectory CLSI-TRANSCRIPTION-DRAFT \<date> directory. As show in this picture

  5. Filing Transcription • Doctor then proof read and finalize the document. • Change the name of document by adding “-d” or “-done” at the end of the filename. • Then these files will be posted under CLSIEHR directories in patient name sub-directories.These files will be printed to a local printer.
