  1. AUGUST 2012 MAJESTIC KINGDOM PROCLAMATION Pastor Ambrose Nyangao [Scripture quotes from NKJV unless otherwise stated]

  2. This is the time to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom. This is the season and we have the great privilege of declaring that the glory and splendor of God is in our midst.

  3. The psalmist has declared [Ps 145:4-7 NIV]: • One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts • They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty • They will meditate on your wonderful works • They will tell of the power of your awesome works • They will proclaim your great deeds • They will celebrate your abundant goodness

  4. We continue to stand on the theme, majestic kingdom reign. God has given us the mandate that we must proclaim and let the world around us know that this kingdom reign is present. Each one of us is called to participate in one way or another.

  5. When the Lord Jesus Christ got the opportunity of proclaiming this kingdom, He read from the book of Isaiah and said [Lk 4:18-19]: • The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach [proclaim] the gospel to the poor; • He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, • To proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind • To set at liberty those who are oppressed; • To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.

  6. We have all been called to proclaim. Many a time we think that special speakers like pastors and evangelists are the ones called to proclaim this majesty of God. We are all called. You may not have a bible college degree, but you have been called to proclaim this majesty. As we are on the way doing this, we must remember the following.

  7. The Master

  8. The mandate to proclaim this gospel has been given to all of us by the Master Himself. When He was risen from the dead, He came upon the disciples and said to them [Mat 28:18-19]: • All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. • Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

  9. Baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy spirit • Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; • And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age

  10. The Master was not suggesting that we proclaim. He was commanding that we proclaim. We have the greatest message that the world needs. The Master Himself was the greatest sacrifice. Satan had been defeated totally. The door to salvation had been opened.

  11. This news needs to be proclaimed to all. Paul the apostle wrote saying [Rom 1:16]: • For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, • For it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, • For the Jew first and also for the Greek

  12. The Message

  13. The apostle Paul summarized this message well, when he said [I Cor 15:1-3]: • I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand • I delivered to you first of all, that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures • And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the Scriptures

  14. This message is a kingdom message. It is the message that tells the world that sin has been paid for. We have forgiveness. Satan has been defeated. Our dominion has been restored. Christ has been exalted. The door is now open for all to come back to God.

  15. The apostle Paul said [II Cor 5:18-20]: • God has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation • We are ambassadors for Christ… • We implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God The message is a kingdom declaration. It is a declaration that satan has been dealt the ultimate blow and that Christ is victorious.

  16. The Messenger

  17. We are the messengers and the carriers of this message. We are called heralds, ambassadors, light carriers, testifiers, proclaimers, and evangelists. • Let your light shine before men—Mat 5:16 • You are the salt of the earth—Mat 5:13 • We are ambassadors for Christ—II Cor 5:20 • Preach the word—II Tim 4:2 • Do the work of an evangelist—II Tim 4:5

  18. The Moment

  19. When are we supposed to proclaim this gospel of the Kingdom? The moment is NOW. Paul wrote to Timothy [II Tim 4:2-3]: • Preach the word! • Be ready in season and out of season • Time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine

  20. To the Ephesians he said [Eph 5:16-17]: • Redeem the time, for the days are evil • Do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is To the Corinthians he said [II Cor 6:2]: • Behold, NOW is the accepted time • Behold, NOW is the day of salvation Today ask God to give you the opportunity of proclaiming the majestic kingdom reign.

  21. The Masses

  22. The world is out there, blind and lost. We can bring light and the message of freedom to them. Paul spoke saying [Rom 10:14-15]: • How shall they call on one whom they have not believed? • How shall they believe on one they have not heard? • How shall they hear without a preacher?

  23. God loves the world. Jesus died for the world. The Holy Spirit is convicting the world of sin. We must go into this world carrying the good news of the gospel.

  24. Rom 10:15 reads: • How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel • Who bring glad tidings of good things Jesus looked at the masses with the eye of compassion. We must do the same.

  25. The word states [Mat 9:36-38]: • Jesus went about the cities preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing the sick • He saw the masses and was moved with compassion for them • They were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd • He then spoke to the disciples and said that the harvest was plentiful • He saw that the laborers were few and asked the disciples to pray that the Lord of the harvest would thrust laborers into His harvest

  26. We must see the masses not as people without hope. We must see them as individuals that Jesus cares very much about and that He has opened the door of hope and liberation for them.

  27. The Manifestation

  28. The word of God has awesome power. God simply needs us to share it. Within that word is the kingdom manifestation. On the day of Pentecost the disciples shared this word and 3000 people came to the kingdom on that day. Luke writes that the people were so touched and wondered what to do.

  29. Peter then stood and said [Acts 2:38-39]: • Repent [change your minds] and let everyone of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ • For the remission of sins; • And you shall receive the gift of the Holy spirit • The promise is to you and to your children, • And to all who are afar of, as many as the Lord our God will call

  30. God is calling you through this word. If you have never given yourself to Him, come today and believe in His Son. Become a bearer of this kingdom message and let God manifest Himself in power through you. Be part of the saints who are marching into the world to share this word of victory. This is the season and this is the time.

  31. This is our mandate for the MAJESTIC KINGDOM PROCLAMATION!

  32. AMEN AND AMEN!
